SR. James Tan Kee Meng Associate Director Raine & Horne International | Zaki + Partners Sdn. Bhd.

With over three decades of experience in property valuation and consultancy, Sr James Tan Keen Meng is a highly regarded professional in the real estate industry. He holds a degree in Property Resource Management (Valuation) from the South Australian Institute of Technology (now the University of South Australia) and began his career in Australia with the Taplin Group of Companies as a valuer and property analyst. Upon returning to Malaysia, he expanded his expertise with leading valuation firms, including Jones Lang Wootton, before taking on his current role as an Associate Director at Zaki + Partners Sdn. Bhd.

A registered valuer since 1995, Sr James further strengthened his qualifications by earning the Certified Diploma in Accounting & Finance (CDipAF) from ACCA in 1998. He is also a distinguished member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Malaysian Institute of Management (MIM), and the Association of Valuers, Property Managers, Estate Agents, and Property Consultants in the Private Sector Malaysia (PEPS).

Beyond his professional practice, Sr James has a strong passion for education and knowledge sharing. Since 2000, he has been actively involved in real estate training programs and lectures on valuation and economics. His insights have been featured in industry forums, property magazines, and media interviews, making him a sought-after speaker at real estate conferences and thought leadership events.

His extensive portfolio includes corporate valuations for publicly listed companies, advisory work for Securities Commission submissions, and in-depth market feasibility studies across Malaysia, China, and Australia. Over the years, he has worked on major valuation and consultancy projects for various property segments, ranging from residential and commercial to industrial and large-scale developments.

Sr James continues to be at the forefront of the property valuation industry, combining his analytical expertise with real-world market insights to support informed decision-making in real estate investments and developments.
